A Star-Spangled Weekend at Butterfly Camping Resort!

Our 4th of July Weekend was lit up not only by fireworks but by smiles, laughter, and unforgettable memories shared throughout the campground!
Most of our campers arrived on Thursday and Friday, filling the park with excitement as another holiday weekend got underway. Once everyone was settled in, Friday night kicked off with a special appearance by Mr. Magico! His amazing tricks and interactive performance left both children and adults scratching their heads and wondering, "How did he do that?" The magic was the perfect way to start the weekend.
Saturday seemed to fly by in the blink of an eye! We began our day with our 9:00 AM Morning Walk, where campers enjoyed a relaxing stroll around the campground while catching up with friends and meeting new faces. Afterward, many gathered to create patriotic crafts and celebrate America's birthday in red, white, and blue style.
Of course, all that crafting worked up an appetite! Campers headed over for our Super Saturday Ice Cream Social, where everyone enjoyed their favorite ice cream creations loaded with endless toppings. Once the sweet treats were finished, it was time to cool off at the Dunk Tank! Friends, family members, and even a few brave volunteers took their turns getting soaked as laughter echoed across the baseball field.
After drying off, everyone climbed aboard for our candy-filled Wagon Ride, one of our favorite campground traditions. Then it was time to put on the best red, white, and blue outfits and head over for a very competitive game of B.I.N.G.O!
Saturday night's B.I.N.G.O was one for the books. The room became so quiet you could hear a pin drop as numbers were called. Then suddenly, the silence would be broken by an excited shout of "BINGOOOO!" followed by cheers from campers throughout the room. It was a close and exciting night for everyone involved.
Sunday was just as memorable. While some campers packed up and returned to their everyday routines, many stayed to enjoy a third night of camping with us. We started the morning with another campground walk, sharing stories, laughs, and favorite Butterfly memories while talking about all the fun still to come.
The afternoon brought more crafts, refreshing snow cones, and another candy-filled Wagon Ride around the campground. As evening arrived, campers gathered for Karaoke Night. We were treated to some incredible performances, lots of laughs, and plenty of encouragement from the crowd. Whether singing solo, with friends, or simply cheering others on, everyone had a great time. New friendships were formed, memories were made, and smiles could be seen everywhere.
Before we knew it, Monday morning had arrived. Campers packed up their sites, said their goodbyes, and headed home after an incredible holiday weekend filled with fun, friendship, and family memories.
